About Quinta Vagabundo Pequeño
Quinta means "country house," and our is perched right on the central ridge of the island in one of the very few spots where you can see both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea – and where it catches the cooling breezes flowing between the Vieques Channel and the Caribbean Sea. The name means “Little Tramp”, after Charlie Chaplin and his best known silent movie, The Vagabond. A delightful junk-art sculpture of Charlie by well-know island artist John Towne graces the front of the villa. The furnishings, sprinkled with eclectic works by local artists, the bright colors of the house and gardens, and the non-pretentious attitude of a country villa all combine to create a fun and unhurried ambience harking back to simpler days, before “talkies”…the “old Caribbean ,” yet with all the comforts and convenience you expect today
